Kris Fowler - Round the World on his bike
Most people who have visited the Tri Store in the last few years or so will have spoken to Kris Fowler, either on a Saturday ride or behind the counter.
Well, Kris is off round the world on Monday 15 February 2010. You can follow him by logging on to his blog here
Well, Monday 15th has come and gone, as has Kris. A crowd of well-wishers saw him depart from the Tri Store and a few rode with him on the first leg of his journey up to London, some for part of the way, and the rest all the way to Greenwich. The scenic route made sure that Kris and his nearly 60 kg of bike and kit were up to handling some savage Sussex climbs - one hill in particular called Brasted Hill, renamed on the day! He made it, no problem, and we all wish him a safe journey on his epic trip around the world.
